A Self Evident Truth

The Republican View of Our President

Jimmy Carter Calls a Spade a Spade!

With flawless eloquence and impeccable reasoning based on history and current events Jimmy Carter spoke a simple truth: “I think an overwhelming portion of the intenselydemonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man,” Says Mr. Carter,” that he’s African-American…I live in the South, and I’ve seen the South come a long way, and I’ve seen the rest of the country that shared the South’s attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans…And that racism inclination still exists. And I think it’s bubbled up to the surface because of the belief among many white people, not just in the South but around the country, that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It’s an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply.”

It is a measure of the extent to which language and logic has become debased in the rhetoric of contemporary Republicanism that Jimmy Carter – who has built houses for the poor with his own hands and promoted peace and justice around the world – just like Jesus Christ – and won a Nobel Prize for his efforts, and authored 26 books since leaving office – can be pilloried in the press for telling a truth that should be self-evident to all who are not mentally impaired. It is equally clear to all whose minds are not polluted by racism or deformed by ignorance and myriad superstitions, that Mr. Carter is head and shoulders above his critics in character and intellect.

Showing his usual steely resolve Mr. Carter, who is easily one of the most principled public personalities of the last century, continues to speak unpopular truths in spite of the invective heaped upon him by those he has exposed. He has been unflinchingly honest whether denouncing the Shameful treatment of Palestinians in Gaza or calling out the white supremacists in our own country…indeed in his native south. And the world will be all the better for it!

I am quite prepared to argue that Jimmy Carter is the greatest man to ever occupy the Oval Office – I shall await the judgment of historians untainted by the political passions of the moment to properly evaluate his presidency – not only is he a prolific writer and a brilliant intellectual – he is also a nuclear engineer trained at the elite Naval Academy, which is presently rated above Harvard.

Jimmy Carter

A Real Warrior!

Mr. Carter is a real warrior, a former commander of a nuclear submarine – which has the fire power to destroy every city in the northern hemisphere – and a fearless commander-in-chief who sought peace but walked into the nuclear plant at three mile island during a dangerous nuclear emergency and calmed the waters. Jimmy C. is the real deal, not a tinsel town bully and charming dunce like Ronnie Reagan, the patron saint of the right, who thought you could recall nuclear missiles once they were fired!

As I listen to the silly outcries against Mr. Carter’s unassailable truth, I am reminded of something my grandfather told me when I was a boy: “If you throw stones into a pack of dogs only the ones who get hit will howl!” Hence the baying we hear from those who feel injured by President Carter’s candid words ain’t nothing but hounds dogs who got smacked upside the head with the hard truth and are trying to cover their lying asses with subterfuge and obfuscation.

Hence I have a message for all you fools, fops, fakers, sophists, soulless lairs, shameless charlatans and racist rascals – AKA Fatty Limbaugh, Sick Sean Hannity, Crazy Glen Beck, and the arrogant chubster Louie Louie D: We are calling you out… and you can run but you can’t hide!
